I question the validity of true love. I often wonder if true love is something that fairy tales are made of. Think about it: how many of us were/are in ''true love''; where you've fallen head over heels for the person, you can't picture your world without them; not because without them you'd be out of money, a place to live, a business partner, a comfy couch, a friend or whatever; but it physically hurts to be without them because having them in your life brings you so much happiness, seeing that person instantly makes your day better, and you automatically feel hotter just because they're by your side. Well, I can honestly say that not one of my friends and their husbands/relationships reflect this. It's sad really. I'm the last one standing. The last single one . Why? Because I refuse to settle for something less. I want to be with my soul mate. I have no issues being single and until that person steps into my life, I'm fine being alone. So...I'm throwing it out there...maybe he's out there surfing craiglsist on a Friday afternoon. Maybe he'll read this and have no choice but to respond. We'll meet, grab a beer or a glass of wine, have a fantastic evening then...before you know it, we're on our honeymoon in Hawaii surfing and swimming with sea turtles. Ok, that's a bit cheesy, right?
